The Princess Bride - 1987 - Rob Reiner
Cult films have played a huge role in the history of Film.
1. Create a Poster (Collage) or a Timeline on the major films that have received cult film status.
or
2. Write a 100 word review for The Princess Bride.
I have actually enjoyed The Princess Bride. At first, I did not think it was going to be that good of a movie but I believe it relays a message. I think that the message is: Childhood. Just one word. In the whole movie, you have the grandfather reading a book to a sick little kid. The kid does not seem to thrilled at the beginning, but as the story progresses, the kid becomes more and more interested in the book and wants to hear more. The whole story is filled with action, adventure, brave heroes, and other things. The story really highlights childhood and the far-out, adventurous and fun imaginations kids have. I think that is why the kid wanted to hear more of the story. It brought out the imaginative side in him. In conclusion, along with the theme of fun and childhood, there is something weirdly likable about this movie.
