Q#2) - Why is the notebook significant to both Georges and Hugo? What does their attachment to it suggest about them?
A: I think the notebook is significant because they both show and exhibit behavior of that they like to fix and build things. For example, George worked in a shop that fixed and sold toys. A: When Hugo finds the heart shaped key and he puts it in the automaton, the automaton starts to draw something... a picture of Georges most famous movie, A Trip To The Moon. He then takes it to Isabelles godmother and she recognizes the movie and then it all leads to them finding out that George(Isabelles god father) is the famous movie guy.
Q#5) - Why do you think the author chose to give the automaton a heart-shaped keyhole?
A: Because when Hugo put the key in the automaton, the place that he had to put the key in was near the robots heart. So it is kind of like he is giving the robot a heart.
